Mission Statement and Core Values

The Pine Beach Police Department will commit its resources in partnership with the community to promote a safe and secure environment, free from crime and the fear of crime, to maintain order and provide for the safe and expeditious flow of traffic while practicing our core values.

The Pine Beach Police Department will be guided by our core values in pursuit of our mission. Our core values are:

PARTNERSHIP - We believe in a partnership of support between the police and the community that we serve. We will continue to strengthen that support by developing new outreach programs and expand existing ones.

If you, or someone you know, are experiencing sexual abuse or sexual harassment, Pine Beach Police wants to know. We want you to report right away! Why?

·         We want to keep YOU safe; it is our job! It is your right to be free from sexual abuse and sexual


·         We want to conduct an investigation of the reported incident.

·         We want to hold the perpetrator accountable for his/her actions.

·         We want to provide YOU with relevant information and support services.


Pine Beach Police offers multiple ways to report sexual abuse and sexual harassment. Reports can be made anonymously.

·         Call at (732) 341-2824.

·         Report to any staff, volunteer, contractor, or medical or mental health staff.

·         Submit a grievance or a sick call slip.

·         Report to the PREA coordinator or PREA compliance manager.

  •   Tell a family member, friend, legal counsel, or anyone else outside the facility. They can report on your behalf by calling (732) 341-2824.
  •   You also can submit a report on someone’s behalf, or someone at the facility can report for you using the ways listed here.


Pine Beach Police has partnered with Ocean County Prosecutors Office Special Victims Unit to provide survivors of sexual abuse with emotional support services. To access these services, contact
(732) 341-2824 or send a letter to:

*Refer to the Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003, 42 U.S.C. 15602 for more information on anonymous reporting and limits to confidentiality for emotional support services.
